Dean McCarthy is an Australian TV and radio personality best known as the host of the American Idol After Show. After earning a Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and training in presenting at NIDA, he launched a media career in Australia before moving to Los Angeles in 2012. He hosts the syndicated radio show Live from LA with Dean McCarthy, covers major red carpets - including Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys - and interviews A‑list talent like Tom Hanks, Jennifer Aniston and Dwayne Johnson. Dean also hosts the after show content for Amercia's Got Talent, is a regular on The Morning Show, Australia and is an ambassador for Hayu international - the home of the Real Housewives franchises.
